I have been lucky enough to get in touch with a talented young designer and therefore I decided to spend my Monday location hunting in a area I have never been in before after seeing a rather cool photograph of a bridge there. Canary Wharf is rather well known for being a business area, it has high fancy glass buildings, expensive restaurants and shopping malls just with designer clothes. Nearby is also England’s biggest inland fish market called Billings Gate Market. I spent about two hours just wandering, getting lost, suddenly find the road again only to get lost once more. It was wondering and I came across a lot of different places which I might use as locations in the future for different shoots.

Looking up on these gigantic towers makes me feel so tiny, yet it love the lines, the reflections and simply the graphics that appears in them.

The very much photographed bridge by Poplar station, which I will be using as my location for my upcoming shoot.

I found this little area very interesting, I think this would be a good background against a black outfit since the red tint in the wall will make the black stand out a lot.

And then I came across this little cozy river area which I also think can be nice for the shoot, just to make all places quite different from each other and to manage to create different feelings around each set and outfit.
I’m quite excited about taking some portraits again and working with a designer and hopefully I will be able to post the photographs here as soon as the shoot has taken place.

That’s a really nice location. The first and only time I went to Canary Wharf was when we all got on the wrong DLR from London. And suddenly there was a city above the station~
